Blessinglicious is OPEN!

On May 19, a local small business restaurant called Blessinglicious opened up (located at 2849 Kingston Road, Scarborough). I got to work with the beautiful owners Davy and Blessing back in April when I shot behind the scenes footage of Davy’s music video. This is when I found out that they were also opening a restaurant. As I have never covered an opening event of a business, I was overly excited to do it!

I went in knowing exactly what I wanted— photos of the owners doing their thing, and beautiful video clips I could put together to make them an advertising reel. And of course, I have never had Nigerian food before so it was a super plus to be BLESSED with the amazing flavours! Let’s talk about Zobo and Peppered Beef please 🤤🤤 GET IN MA TUMMYYYYY!

All of the food they had to offer was so fresh and delicious it made my first time experience fantastic. I was so honoured to have been the first customer in the restaurant to be able to taste the foods and help with marketing footage.

This couple gives off such amazing energy and I know they are going to run an awesomely successful business. I’m glad to say that I have been apart of their journey.

Ps.. Did I mention they are on Uber Eats and Door Dash? I know I will continue to enjoy the amazing food Blessing prepares 😍
