How it all started..
Just look at that picture.. It says it all right there. There is nothing like capturing the perfect image and seeing it full of emotion, passion, success. It makes me so happy to see that I took an amazing photo of someone, and I just imagine how happy they are to have had that image of them captured.
When I was a child my parents bought me one of those mini point and shoot cameras that look like a DSLR. Although I couldn’t change the lens, it didn’t stop me from shooting anything and everything— I remember clearly the shots I took out front of my country home of chickadees eating leftover pumpkin pie at Christmas. I loved it so much!
It was in the summer of 2018 after I graduated university that I decided to invest in purchasing a new camera so I could really expand and focus on my photography. I posted an ad on Kijiji for yard work services and I saved up all summer long— all the money I made from leaf raking, grass cutting, and gardening. By the end of the summer, I had enough to purchase my first DSLR, the Canon T6i.
From there, I started taking photos of my family (that happy boy you see in the thumbnail is my nephew), my cats, my childhood best friend, and my co workers at Queens. It wasn’t until I moved to Toronto that my portfolio really started to grow.
